215 Tim Wiegard / Mark Kane 46 45 45 41 43 41 45
216 Steve Bagnard / Shawn Boley 44* 42 47 45 43 45 42
217 Jim Wamhoff / Kyle Hayhurst 44 47 43 40 46 45 45
219 Tim Sullivan / Eric Lewis 44 43 45 44 44 44 46*
219 Brian Walls / Steve Light 46 46 42 47 42 46 43

Andy,

Will Wamo and myself(Kyle Hayhurst) be playing against Tim Sullivan and Eric Lewis or Brian Walls and Steve Light? Just curious! Wamo mentioned that it might be the higher score of the two teams on the week previous to the final week that would decide it.

Thanks

Team Shanks will start on "1" just for you Linkster, it will make things easier anyhow. Though up against team Bol-Bag team Shanks has their hands full....stay tuned and watch as every division is excitingly tight.
Thanks again Andy you run one fine and fun league.

I'd like to request starting at hole # 8 for Sir Flappington and Jimmy Whitebirch. Thank you in advance.

Ideally I would send the 215, 216 and 217 out together and then send the 219's and 222 out together. A lot of guys don't like playing with a sixsome though, so that probably won't happen. In the past I have always just gone alphabetically. Lewis would be the first alphabetically, so you would be going out with Tim and Eric.

Craig and I want to start somewhere between hole 1 and hole 18. Anything else is unacceptable.

WEEK 8 OF LEAGUE

Another great year of league comes to a close. Thanks to everyone that helped out last night. We have a good crew and there is always someone that steps up when needed.

As many of you already know I will be stepping down from running league next year. After 5 years of running it I really just need a break. I’m not exactly sure who will be running things next year, but it sounds like there are a few guys who will be taking things over. I will still be around though and will do what I can to help out.

There were 2 CTP’s for each flight. I didn’t keep all of the winners. There were 3 of the flags that were not picked up…nothing I can do about that. Those were given to the youngest player (Brekka Polkinghorne), our elder statesman (Randy Singer) and the other one was given to Doug McCormick to help reimburse him for the tip on some of the pizzas being delivered.

2 – D
3 – A

5 – C
6 – D
7 – A
8 – B

There were no aces hit. The ace pool stood at $60. I will explain in another post how it got to that for anyone that wants to know. Since no one hit the ace we drew names and the first 6 won $10 each. Below are the winners.
1. Tim Grelle
2. Mike Grau
3. Randy Singer
4. Chris Horvath
5. Keith McPeak
6. Brad Stuart

I’m not positive, but I believe it was Duke Lavacki that won a disc in the putting contest.

Below are the scores. The score on the left in bold is your total with BOTH drop weeks. The weekly scores are to the right. Scores with an * are played cali. Your score is a 126 if neither partner shows up.

For anyone interested below is how your entry fee was spent and what the payouts were.

Expenses
Shelter rental & course closed – 8 nights @ $35/night = $280
Pizza = $215
Soda & water = $40
Ice = $15
Plates, napkins, cookies, misc = $25
Week 1-4 CTP’s = $50
Putting contest = $10
Total = $635
Expenses per person ($635/76)= $8.36
Money was taken from the ace pool to make it $8/person

Ace pool started at $109. I subtracted $39 from this. $27 of it was to bring the cost per person down to $8 (.36 x 76 = $27.36). The other $12 was added to some of the flights. I also gave Doug McCormick $10 of it to help pay for a tip on some of the pizzas being delivered. This left $60 which was given to 6 players @ $10/each in a drawing after no aces were hit

A Flight
9 teams @ $50 = $450
Minus $8 per player ($144 total)
Minus $40 for week 5-8 CTP’s
Added cash of $19
Total payout = $285
1st - $100 cash
2nd - $80 cash
3rd - $60 cash
4th - $30 cash
5th - $15 cash

B Flight
11 teams @ $50 = $550
Minus $8 per player ($176 total)
Minus $40 for week 5-8 CTP’s
Minus $24 added to other divisions
Total payout = $310
1st - $100 cash
2nd - $80 cash
3rd - $60 cash
4th - $40 cash
5th - $20 cash
6th - $10 cash

C Flight
9 teams @$50 = $450
Minus $8 per player ($144 total)
Minus $40 for week 5-8 CTP’s
Added cash of $9
Total payout = $275 cash
Turned into $330 in vouchers
1st - $60 voucher
2nd - $50 voucher
3rd - $40 voucher
4th - $35 voucher
5th - $33 voucher
6th - $31 voucher
