We have 27 tags left to sell before the Club Championships. Tags are $10 - half price and good to Jan 1, 2011. The Turkey Toss, 11/26, and Holly Daze, 12/12, tournaments are the last two tournaments of the year.

The Club Championships are coming Oct 9 & 10 to start the New Year. It is $25 for current members and $30 for non current members (It does not include a 2010 tag of $5).

Entry fee allows you to play either day or both days and includes your 2011 membership and tag, the Members Party, and a Premium Plastic Disc. Current 2010 members are invited to the party on Saturday at JB. 2011 memberships are $20 plus $5 for a Club Stamped Disc. Additional discs are not available for purchase.

We have kept our prices low to encourage more people to join us. Last year's CC cost $40 for both days and $35 for one day. 150 people got their tags at the CC last year. The Club had 251 people on record as members last year but there were more members and tags not supported. I think it is safe to say we have doubled our size this year with 532 documented members.

That said; it is possible to have over 200 people at the CC this year on each day and at the party. We can accommodate 172 (foursome teeing off every 6 minutes) on Saturday at JB by using the ‘rolling start’ and 27 holes. We can accommodate 172 (36 foursomes) at Sioux Passage on Sunday using ‘shotgun start’ on 36 holes.

Please pre-register with payment to secure a spot at the Club Championships. Current members are given priority. Thank you all for supporting the Club and your golf courses.

REDARMY, you are dangerously close to pulling off Mike O. If you didn't know, a Mike O. is when you alienate yourself from everyone's good graces by acting like a jackass. Mike pretty much had to move to Colorado to play the sport that he loves because he pissed off too many people. Be careful...

i know who mike o is.

first, i'm not yelling and screaming at td's at tournaments, in front of other players and members about my grievances.

second, as to your sig, why don't you ask every board member who was the most active volunteer (besides board members and td's) the club had from last years open to this years open?

who's schlepping around trashbags at endicott/sioux/lindenwood/white birch picking up others trash?

who's shown more out-of-towners around local courses this year?

who tried to yank the fallen-over basket on 12 at unger out of the water it was rusting in?

i'll accept changing your sig as a truce.

and while i'm at it, i DID run for one of the members-at-large positions last year (which you and red and someone else won)

Red Army is alright in my book, I wish he would be somewhat more patient, though I understand his misgivings, and can only say volunteers are very much appreciated, and are so much needed to help us get ready for the next great tournament put out by RCF. I appreciate you coming back onto the site Red Army, you took a little hiatus, and its good to see you back! I look forward to your help as a volunteer, when you are comfortable, we will move forward. Thanks again for your help at the 2010 St Louis Open.

We have just 16 tags left to sell before the Club Championships! Once they are gone newbies will be paying $5 more for the CC.

Modified from the tournament thread.

''Why should I join the club before the Club Championships, Oct 9 and 10?'

'Your membership dollars go back into the golf courses. The cost to become a 2010 member is half price, $10. We have 20 tags left for 2010 and we don’t expect to order more. People who wait until the CC to become members will pay $5 more entry fee, will not get a 2010 tag ($5), will not have $5 earmarked for their home course, will not get a raffle ticket ($5) for the basket, will miss out on the tag shuffle on Saturday, and may be bumped from competing in the tournament by a current 2010 member. Finally, 2010 Club Stamped Discs are available to members only for $5 ($10) and are not available for sale to non members.'

For anyone still waiting to sign up, we have 17 tags left. Oh yea, you get an extra raffle ticket for anyone you bring that also signs up.'
