Arnold Park, How is the course looking?

how do you join jeff county sharp shooters and what can be done to help the course

We've sold all 50 tags and I'm not sure if we are ordering more. Anyone can help with the course just by picking up trash and loose limbs, etc.

The JCS has a rotating league schedule. Jokerst in spring & fall & West City in the summer. Arnold will be in the mix next year.
Every Thursday between 4 & 5. All the money goes right back into the courses. So come out, Fall league starts tomorrow and runs for 9 weeks and the ninth week we have a BBQ and play wacky golf.

The Course looks great as of Friday myself and Joe Mckee got out and mowed, trimmed, moved brush piles etc...for the arnold days deal.

This week (3/13/11) is a good chance the LAKERS will be coming down, is the course playable? When I drove over the meramac on Hwy 55 Sunday night 3/6/2011, the ball fields had some standing water on them. Well I guess really the water was lying on the fields, but being dark it was hard (giggiddy) to tell.

I have gotten this good news on Tuesday 3/8/11:
Arnold was good on Saturday and should be good unless we get a BUNCH more rain. Judging from the forecast it may be a bit muddy, but not under water. Jokerst is good to go. The Parks Dept. took down a couple of dead trees on hole three and still have some limbs and such to clean-up but nothing that hinders play. I will pass along the info to the players at the Thursday league.
Sounds like we will be there Sunday.
