Is the additional 18 going to be similar to the 18 already in place? I've only played the course once, and really liked it. Another quality 18 holes of golf in that park would be killer...definitely a good reason to make a weekend day trip up again.

This is the course proposal that was approved...

With the new layout we will be able to add Gold Tees for tourneys that will be able to add as much as another 300' feet to some layouts by utilizing baseball fields and established garden areas for single weekend events.

New pin and pad positions are marked and the course will be walked with Lincoln Park Maintenance on Monday for a walk-thru for approval of locations...

Damn we are close...

i played that course around the new year sometime with bruce and another guy, and i have to say, it rocks!

(if i have my orientation right), the south course has much more fit and finish done to it, but navigating the north is entirely possible with a course map available on springfield's website.

if you're thinking about it, go! think JB and endicott with a touch of sioux passage thrown in. absolutely worth the trip.
Are YOU the d-bag who swiped all four of the putters I left at White Birch?

The course is now in the the tourney layout for the first day of the Mother Lode - ALL 36 HOLES are now in play.

NexTEE has been installed on all of the pins - pointing you to the next tee area - you cannot get lost.

Most of the holes on the south course get moved to the alternate positions for the second day of the tourney - the tourney continues for advanced and above for a second day of an additional 21 holes - including the last hole that will be 950 feet...
