Played Rock Spring on Sat., Feb. 20, & the gates were STILL closed. Most of the Christmas decorations were gone, but we still had to park at the tennis courts. The course played great, & we certainly still had a good time........

someone knocked over the porta-john that's there by the tennis court parking too, so if you gotta drop a deuce, hit the walgreens or CVS up the street beforehand

Believe it or not, they are taking the Xmas decorations down faster than usual. In the past they had no reason to take the decorations down in a timly manner, but now we have the DG in there and they are gettin better. The park was rarely used (if ever) untill DG. If they get um down and cleared out before April, that would be a feat.

I agree, it does seem to be happening quicker than last year. My only question is---- Why not open the gates & let people into the park????? There is NO good reason to keep the gates locked!!! At night, sure, but open them during the day........

Just played it Sun 4/12/2010 with Lakers and I have to say that its an awesome course. It'll make the Open interesting.

Are long tees marked on every hole? I could only find a few, figuring they're hidden by leaves and crap. Will shorts or longs be used in the SLO? The longs make a lot of difference on more than a couple of holes.
