Next week is the final week of the fall league. We are going for a 5:00 shotgun start. You need to be there about 10 minutes earlier then that if you want to be paired up within your flight by score. If you are running a little later then that you will be paired up with whoever happens to be running late also. If you know you will be a little late please try to give me a heads up. You will need to tee off by about 5:20 at the latest in order to finish before it gets dark.

We will be meeting at shelter # 1 for the final night. That is the larger one near hole # 6.

As usual we will be bbq’ing with all of the sides. Rookies Bar & Grill will again be donating 300 hot wings and O’fallon Brewery will be donating a keg of beer as well. Should be a good time as always.

See everyone out there next week.

Just a reminder that we will be meeting at shelter # 1 (near hole 6). I'll see everyone tomorrow. Hopefully that rain gets out of here...What do I care, I'm not playing!!!

Fall starts today at 4:18pm. It's nice to see that the fall league ends just a few hours after fall begins. Just barely got it in there.

My son and I had a great time playing in the Fall League. This was our first time playing as partners so we had a good learning experience with a bunch of fun kicked in. Andy did a great job of running this. Matt and I will be playing league again and will be improving and tuning our game. For everyone that has been telling me to use a Sidewinder, I now have one. Now just have to learn how to throw it correctly. :P
You don't quit playing games because you get old.

BLARGH! (*mine got stolen grumble grumble*)

everyone else is right though. that is a great disc. i have faster speed discs in my bag, but due to its slight understability, i (used to  ) throw my sidewinder farther than any of those faster discs.

keep working at it terry, and that'll be a great tool to have in your bag.

welcome to the site by the way.

Mike
Are YOU the d-bag who swiped all four of the putters I left at White Birch?

Thanks for the welcome Mike. I just got the Sidewinder tonight so I haven't even gotten to throw it yet. I'm sure I will find that it does exactly what everyone tells me it will. If that happens to end up being the case, my game will be improved just by having this in my arsenal. I can hardly wait to throw it.

i took me a while to purchase a sidewinder, but man is it worth it, i could seriously use it on every hole at quail, it very versatile!

Thanks again Andy for runnin' a killer league!!! See ya leaguers in the spring!
