Yes, we are still trying to have the Mike Bemis tourn around Halloween. Workin on it. The christmass lights are going up soon, but that should not effect things too much.

The moment the St Louis disc golf world has been waiting for has arrived--Gflap's review of Rock Springs. Finally got to play this gem on 8/30 and it was in excellent condition--freshly mowed, nice tee signs and amazing lines and elevation changes. Luckily, we had Dan Moss in our group who had played the course once before to help guide us thru this Utopian course. Can't wait to play a tournament here. Nook and cranny at it's finest. I will stay at the short tees for the fun factor and the fact that I can't drive past 300 feet. Beautiful design on this course. Congratulations and thanks.

Concrete Tees at this course will be a godsend. I'd like to make one suggestion though - some reconsideration should be put into the location for #2's tee before a permanent tee is placed there. I think the hole would play so much better if it was placed across the walking path, up on the hill, and back from the pin about 500 feet - that would balance the 500+ foot holes on the course (2 on the front, 2 on the back). In its current location, I predict mud and debris washing over the tee will be a common occurrence since it's effectively sitting in a ditch.

Disc up,
I will have to check out the tee pad positions again before I can weigh in. It has been a while since I have been out there and it is all becoming vague now. How about Sunday 9/6/9 at, oh say 9:00 am? Who am I kidding, it is the LAKERS rotation time again. Come on out and join, because it is fun to play. :D

8-)

I 4th the motion but the tee pads have been poured and will be ready by Fri. The pads were poured Tues. and Wed. The tee was raised a bit on #2 to avoid any inconvinence.
