Well, I went out to JB with my wife today and measured a couple of holes.
Wow was it warm and muggy with absolutely no wind. We only did 1, 2, part of 8 and 9.
But the good news is, my methodology appears to be sound and accurate.
I don't have the course info with me right now, but here are the limited numbers I came up with.
1)
A) 246 ft and 25 ft lower
B) 303 ft and 26 ft lower
C) 408 ft and 22 ft lower
D) 486 ft and 20 ft lower
For when C or D is used, the gap on the right is 237 ft away (forgot to measure the gap itself).
2)
A) 264 ft
B) 354 ft
C) 369 ft
D) 405 ft
The gap is about 120ft away and only 13 ft wide.
8)
A) 381
B)
C)
D) 537 but need to double check
Tree on left before the slight drop is 219 ft away.
The BIG tree that is usually the "target" everyone aims at
(including myself) is 339 ft away.
9)
A) 315 ft but 17 ft higher
B) 339 ft but 18 ft higher
C) 339 ft but 18 ft higher
The 1st big tree on the right that may be cut down is 42 feet away.
the 1st tree across the "creek" that knocks most shots down is 225 ft away.
The 2nd tree towards the right is 246 ft.
The "V" tree that knocks down "good" shots is 282 feet away.
The big tree next the the original location is 332 ft away.
I don't have the scorecard distances, if someone does, please compare, otherwise, I will find it tomorrow.
It also took longer than I thought it would. But the use of two way radios made it easier.
Thoughts?
