Grant,
We'll probably get going at Unger around 10 on Sunday. I'm not sure about temporary holes, but I've played it a few times and we've just played to where the baskets are "going to be." It is still a challenging course, even without putting. I'm planning on walking it at least once to get measurements for the holes.

Today was a great success. After a bit of a slow start, we got all 18 sleeves installed, leveled and covered so tonight's weather doesn't affect them. I'm probably going by tomorrow at some time to check on them.
We had a great crew show up to help today and we appreciate it very much.
Thanks to Ray, Clanger, Rich, Mark D, Tom G, Doug & Christie, Roger, Jammin' Jim and Steve K. Hopefully Dave is feeling a little better, he had to take off pretty early. I'm going to try and load some pictures here in a bit so check back.
I plan on picking up the baskets from Dave on Friday, or earlier if possible, and getting them in there so we can start warming up for the #2 winter series event there on Jan 10th.

Jeff how are you planning to get the baskets to Unger. I suggest a caravan of pickup trucks.

Agreed, Tom Greer volunteered his truck, he said Brad would help too. Dave said he would help deliver and I can fit 1 or 2 in my car.
Anyone else with a truck wanna help.
This is a quote from an email I got from Dave this morning...
The baskets took a little longer at the galvanizer than I was quoted.
I am picking them up this week and will be assembling the chains once I do.
Most likely it will take about a week to get them all assembled..
It’s looking more like they will be ready after Christmas and ready to put in the ground.

if i have enough notice and the timing works out, i can procure a suburban for basket transport.

fold down the middle seat and take out the back seat = lots of basket room.
Are YOU the d-bag who swiped all four of the putters I left at White Birch?
