White Birch Summer League

Postby jeffthrow6892 on Tue Jun 16, 2009 2:47 pm

Well, we started the summer league last week. And I believe there are 26 teams. One of the cool things about this league is that we switch formats around some, it is not all Best Disc. This Thurs.,the 18th, is the Best Score format.

Hey, just a thought...I know worst shot was a pain becasue of the time restraints. The rounds were looonnnggg. You should try substituting tough shot in that spot. It's the same rules as worst shot only the hole is finished once one player has holed out. So it can still be a harder format, but only needing one putt would speed it up.

Not a bad idea, we'll see what the league TD thinks. Of course, alternate, which is the other round along with a worst shot round, tends to move pretty quickly! And thanks again, Mr. Stiff, for posting the league results!!

Apparently, the game plan is to split into divisions after week four, which is the tough combined score format. At that point, how many teams in each flight is determined by logically looking at the scores, it is not a cut & dried kind of thing. There is not a pre-determined amount of teams for A-flight, nor B or C.
