Hazelwood 30th Anniversary May 9th

Hazelwood is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its disc golf course on May 9th.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m. You can grab some friends & play a round of disc golf with your own discs or with the commemorative one you get as your attendance prize. Play anytime from 10 to 2. Prizes for the winners.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Play (anytime) a nine hole round of mini disc golf with your minis or the complementary one for attending.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Compete in a putting contest for prizes.

Noon - Hot dogs will be served, along with chips and soft drinks.

Every 5 minutes from 10 to 2 there will be an attendance prize drawn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything so far is FREE!!!!!!!!!!

There will be 30th Anniversary t-shirts for $14.00 each.

You can buy raffle tickets for a chance to own a piece of disc golf history from 10 to 2. At 2 p.m. we will draw names for two discs with Ed Headrick's ashes in them. $1.00 ea or 6 for $5.00.

There will be a few other games and attendance prizes for all in attendance.

After 2 p.m. we will flip for partners & play a serious round for anyone who wants to.

Everyone come out and be a part of disc golf history!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm afraid so. Holes # 5 & # 8 I think were gone when we were picking up the course afterwards! You try to do something cool & someone always has to ruin things!!!

Disc up funmongers,
I knew in advance that I was going to miss probaly the funnest event of the year, as I was out of town enjoying mothers day with my inlaws. It was worse missing this than watching a tourneyment and not being able to play. Ahh, life is full of choices and since I spent Easter with the boys from Wisconson instead of family, I knew that M's day was booked. I want to be able to live vicariously through everyone elses stories, so please do not hesitate to pass along the fun verbally to me.



PS. You thiefs, you know who you are, have a BIG deficit on Karmic Cash now that I don't know if you can pay back, so look out. Like Elvin Bishop says "Everything that you do, will come back to you. uh huh."
