Pin placements

It would be nice if SP pins were always posted here, but anyway.

Mr. FA ask me to post that 6 pin is now in C over the hill.

L8r and peace,

Actually, the B placement is the one between the pine trees, the A placement is shorter & to the left by those other pine trees on the left side of the fairway. But the sleeve for the A placement got run over or something so it's not useable at this time. I just played Sioux yesterday (Tues.) & man was it windy out there!! Shot a 68, which wasn't too bad considering the conditions! Anyway, Mr. F.A., jeez.... you sure are in love with that SILLY C placement on hole # 6, aren't you now???

I played last sat. and it was nice to see hole 6 A placement . Thanks for all the work you do F.A. to keep this one of the best courses if not the best in St.Louis.

i would have liked to see this myself.

not only because i've never seen it before and i might actually be able to make that pin in 3, but that'd make the 6-7 transition a lot smoother.

anyone want to grab a round tomorrow? i can be there 5 or 5:30 ish?

Well I missed the C.A.B., but got a round in the Wed.(7/1) after. And I want to thank F. A. (scorekeeper), for clearing out & using the B placement on hole #17!!! We have been waiting to see that pin placement used, & really enjoyed playing the hole. So much in fact, that we marched right back to the tee & played it again!! To illustrate how good that pin is, I took a 5 the first time, & a 3 the second. I think you'll see 3's, 4's, 5's, & maybe even worse scored on the hole! I wonder what everyone else thought about having the basket there, we really liked it!! :D

And, someone had a little party in the woods by # 12's tee, leaving cans & bottles ALL over the place! I think we got most if not all of it picked up, I HATE seeing litter in a beautiful park like Sioux!!

I think you (hopefully) meant #17 B, not C, right?? C pin is the one straight ahead almost to the road, we play that one all the time, & it's kinda boring! But the B placement (which I'm pretty sure we've never used till now) is KILLER!!

I agree, Jeff, I had never seen that hole placement before the CAB, and it was actually a great placement indeed! Totally blind shot, though, I think you will need a spotter on both 17 and 18 if they are in B and C placements, in the future, it would save lots of time. I am really glad we had spotters during the CAB on those two holes!!!! 8-)
Life is short, make the most of every opportunity you get to do the right thing, even when it would be easier to just say "Screw it, I don't care." Make a difference, one opportunity at a time. Smile!
