Monday Weekly

It's that time of year finally. For any Monday golfers looking to take my money, come up to Endicott tomorrow afternoon at 5pm. I'm rusty as hell, so it'll be extra easy. It'll be a little muddy, but at 65 degrees and sunny we'll deal with it. Same format as last year: singles, 5 bucks to play. Draw cards for the foursomes, tags up for grabs on your card only. Best score overall gets most of the payout.

It's open to anyone, however I would suggest you join the club anyways.

Clanger's got it on both points. Considering we don't pay greens fees and the club is instrumental in getting us more courses, kicking in 20 bucks to the cause is money well spent. You'll also get a commemorative Gateway putter and a bagtag.

Please try to solicite people for hole sponsorships during teh first few weeks. You can start a group fund too where people can throw in a buck or two and the Endicott Weekly can sponsor a hole at the Open. The total to sponsor a hole is $100. All that money goes to the pro purse and prizes for the StL Open. Please help us raise this money.

For those of you crazy enough to show up today, monday weekly is on and I'll definitely be there. Given the crappy weather and the fact that the course will be empty, I propose we play 9 holes instead of the full 18, half of which will be wacky holes. The 9 will be:

Hole 1 Tee to Hole 3 Basket
Hole 4
Hole 5 Tee to Hole 6 Basket
Hole 7 Tee to Hole 11 Basket
Hole 12
Hole 13 Tee to Hole 15 Basket
Hole 16
Hole 17
Hole 18

btw, on the offchance that anyone aces hole 5's basket off the tee, that is a black ace for this round.
