Thoughts after playing Unger!!

Cool course! I kept remembering the movie "tin-cup" where he kept hitting golf balls into lake in professional tournamant. might get a lawn chair and just watch sunday.

Ok, I've played 18 at the ice bowl and lost 1 disc. Just today with unknown plastic in the back of my car I lost two on hole 11. Only played the back nine. So, after 27 holes I've lost 3 discs. I think the course is winning. I'm really looking forward to playing this course when it's not 20 mile an hour winds and cold and wet.

myself and eric (emoney) played unger on the way back from the kircher laker league game, and this is hands down the toughest course in st. louis.

some of you have already mentioned that i'm sure, but christ almighty! the short shots needed laser accurate tunnels, and the long ones needed looooooong distance.

for any who want to see this course in the St.L. Open or another big tournament, I whole-heartedly agree!

Well, well, well!! This coarse is a beautiful thing! well that is for the nature i mean. it's a mean one if things aren't going well for your shot that day. i had fun and got a war wound from the damn stubbles sticking up EVERYWHERE!!! Not bad for my first time. I shot 8 over. think it will be better next time now that i see some more routes. Oh yeah, and i only lost one disc(orangish tan Assassin) has emoney and 36115 on it on 7 i think

Loved It! Beautiful! Just Beautiful Course! I hate water, BTW. One thought, I ran into a couple of guys fishing along the lake, which is fairway. Maybe summer this will become an issue?

What is the best score you've had on this bad boy? I heard some scores in the 50's. Best I've done is 63. I like the idea of moving some of the baskets away from water given it appears when the river rises so does the lake. I just left the park and 11 and the water was 6 inches from the pin and hole 12 was clearly surrounded by water just recently. If we're going to put this course on the tournament map and use it for the St. Louis Open we may need to adjust the course so we can play it even if the water is up. I think we can move some pins and be OK. Any thoughts...
