Just played willmore for the first and second time last week, loved it, my new favorite course in stl. Thanks to everyone that has made it possible to play in st. louis city. Also I think thursday would be a great day to have a league at willmore, since most of our stl leagues are not played on thursdays???

Oh, that damn tree on 8. I've had to work at getting a few of them down from there myself.

Those pines on 7 too  It's like they have fingers.

Good shots do not land in trees!

Disc up,
A disc in the hand is worth 2 in the tree.

So...
Played last night and, at about hole 14, caught up with a 50 something year old woman who was playing ball golf... on the disc golf course. Yeah... um. She literally was putting the ball on the marker stones, pulling out a club (from a small bag of 3 clubs) and whacking them out towards the baskets. :|

I began trying to reason with her at the pad for 15 (which I hoped she wouldn't find), but she couldn't see the problem... other than that she agreed that it was hard to find the balls in the tall grass (which I didn't even mention). She was a bit loony, and really just seemed more happy to have someone to talk at than interested in listening to reason.

It wasn't until I got home that it occurred to me that she was possibly the one who'd broken the tee marker stone at hole 3 by whacking it with her club.

oh that lady, we ran into her a while back and what a piece of work. she was definitely completely f'd up on something. she tried to blame me for picking up piece of trash. she thought I picked up for golf ball. kept yelling and yelling until I turned around and said lady I picked up a piece of trash off the golf course showed it to her, went and found golf ball for her and said thank you. you could take one look at her know she was not healthy.
