The Battle at the Barracks - Starts 9/17/203

Postby discdoh on Mon Sep 09, 2013 6:34 am

Here is the info for the final league of the 2013 season...

This is my favorite league to run! It is always a ton of fun! Make it 1 week or all 7 weeks if you can. There is an overall payout for the top finishers that play at least 4 weeks...

A league made for my noodle arm. Are skips allowed for metal or in the air only?

Mark Dudenhoeffer set the course up yesterday, so we are good to go for this afternoon. If you want to get a sneak peek (usually a good idea with a MD layout  ), head on out a little early and take a gander...

On a side note, I have decided to include a couple of optional DISC CTPs and 50/50s each week. The cost will be $2/week to participate in all 4 CTPs. The winners of the DISC CTPs will get to pick a disc out from the "Treasure Chest" and the 50/50 winners will take home the cash...

Here are the results after Week 2...

If you want to get in on the overall, you still are not too late! As a matter of fact, you are never too late! If you score 400 points in one week, that would probably be all that you would need. But seriously, there are still 5 weeks to go, so there is still plenty of time to get 4 scoring weeks in...

The next 2 weeks layout is provided courtesy of Aaron Walther & Mark Dudenhoeffer. Thanks for the effort fellas! From what I understand, Hole 5 tees off east of the basket down the walking path a bit. Keep this in mind so you aren't looking for too long in the wrong spot. Also, Hole 15 tees off in between basket 14 (left) and tee 16. We have used a similar spot in the past, but I believe it is a bit longer than before.

See everyone tomorrow!

This is the last week for the Aaron Walther/Mark Dudenhoeffer layout. If you would like to get involved with designing the next layout, talk with me tomorrow before you head out...

Here are the standings after 4 weeks...

If you want to get a solid 4 weeks of overall qualifying rounds in, this week is the last week that you can get started. If you don't play 4 weeks total, your overall score still counts towards the overall payouts. Your chances of placing will obviously be diminished, but 3 solid weeks is still better than 4 mediocre ones... ;)

The next 2 weeks of play will see the Murdick/Dude/D'OH layout. It is going to be finalized tomorrow during the Save the Ta-Tas festivities, so there might even be some additional input...you never know!

See you all tomorrow! It's Yammer Time!

Hey, Doh or Dude, if you have tags, shirts & discs I'll pick mine up tomorrow. I know Dude had some tags the other day, but no discs or shirts. I heard it was $30 for all 3. Correct? If not, who can I pick them up from?

The deal for the disc and shirt for $30 was ONLY for the days of the Club Championships event. From that point on, it is the same as every other year, Membership and Tag for $20, an extra $5 gets you a 2014 STLDGC Member custom stamp Gateway disc.

Sorry for any confusion.
