Now we are talking! It looks like the weather is going to be AWESOME on Tuesday...upper 80's and plenty of sunshine! Hopefully all of the weather-based punishment that everyone went through for the Spring League will pay off in spades for the Summer and Fall Leagues. This is a good start!

Remember that if you don't have a partner lined up yet, you can always show up solo and see if anyone else is in the same boat. If nothing else, you can play CALI until you find a partner or play CALI for the entire league if that appeals to you. Also, remember that everyone gets a DROP WEEK, so if you have to miss the first week, it is not the end of the world...

Here are the standings after Week 1...

No ACES were hit, so the ACE POOL carries over. It seemed a bit light the first week, but a lot of teams only had one member show up as well, so maybe it will get back to its normal numbers this week.

There are also a bunch of people that played CALI the first week. If you are one of those people, take a look at the standings and see if there is another person playing CALI that you would like to join up with. If you combine with someone else, I will take the lowest score that either one of you shot...

We need some speed rounds today. Forecast shows that the later it gets, the worse the weather gets

Is it too late for me to sign up for the league? I'll have to play Cali, but I'd love to join up.
Thanks guys,

Here are the results from Week 2...

It was a BIG week for Joe Ervin! He decided to sign up for league a week late once he figure out that there was a DROP WEEK and that missing the first week would not ruin his chances in the long run. He showed up solo looking for a partner. He was able to pair up with Greg "G-Man" VanHorn and they headed off to Hole 1B. On Joe's first ever competitive disc golf shot in JB Doubles League (I also think it might have been his first organized competitive round of disc golf in general), he sank a Hole-In-One! How is that for an introduction! He takes home $106 for his efforts and also takes home $26 for the 50/50, for a grand total of $132. I wonder if G-Man had a chance to set up an agreement concerning ACES?

Otherwise, everything seemed to go pretty normal. See everyone tomorrow!

Oh, I guess I should bump this thread so that anyone looking for the results realizes that they are posted...

BTW, the ACE POOL resets to $0. Have no fear, however, as the ACE POOL should bring in around $60/week. It won't be long before it starts to get up there again!
