The Winter Chill - SCCDGC - December 8th

We decided to add another event this year. Please note that this one does have a 9:00 AM start time. As always I'll post more info and a pre-registration list once it gets closer.

Just wanted to give this a quick bump since it's been so long since I posted it. It looks like the weather should be decent which is always a toss up this time of year. We will be playing one round from the reds and one round from the whites. We'd like the first round to be from the whites, but if the ground is damp we will play the whites the second round to give it a chance to dry. Lunch and drinks are included in the entry fee. We have a free keg of Labatt's courtesy of North American Breweries. We'll probably have the normal $5 CTP on every hole which is also included in your entry fee.

Chili cheese dogs or regular hot dogs, chips and all the fixin's. Soda, lemonade and water to drink. And of course an ice cold keg of Labatt's!

Please do pre-register. It makes it easier on me to get things prepared. We are up to about 30 registered so far. The SCCDGC has a facebook page which gets a ton of use. Most people in our area seem to have abandoned this site, but I still post everything here for those that aren't on facebook.

Thanks to everyone for making it out. Also thanks to those who pitched in and helped run the event when needed.

The course was a bit sloppy, so both rounds were played from the red tees.

Pin High donated a CTP for each round. There were another 17 CTP’s @ $5 each. The flags were not kept, so don’t know who won those for sure.

The ace pool started at $112. There was $48 paid in to bring the total to $160. No aces were hit, so it carries over to our next event which is the Ice Bowl next month.
