I am starting to work on all of the PDGA information from the last session. I have to establish my own finishing order for everyone before I submit everything. I am going to take a look at everything from a couple of different angles before I make any final decisions. Below is the order using the standard PDGA points system. You get 1 point for everyone you beat or tie each week. This example uses everyone's RAW SCORE. Next I will be tabulating everything using everyone's HANDICAP SCORE...

Here are the results from the last week...

Next week will be the official last week of Carrollton DGC Handicap Singles League for 2012. We will be working out a way to give away the ACE POOL and any remaining funds from the 50/50s (most of it was used to pay for PDGA sanctioning). There is $201 in the ACE POOL that will be given away and there are a few additional bucks from the 50/50s. Everyone is welcome to join us, no matter if you have participated before or not, so please spread the word. Here is the catch - YOU MUST HAVE PAID INTO THE ACE POOL FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS OF LEAGUE IN ORDER TO PLAY FOR FREE. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID INTO THE ACE POOL FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $5 TO PARTICIPATE.

I am guessing that there should be over $400 to give away when it is all said and done, so each hole should be worth around $25 or more! If you are zoned in this could prove to be a REAL nice payday! All payouts will happen directly after the last card is turned in and all of the winners are figured out.

Gateway Disc Sports, Dave McCormack, and myself would like to thank everyone that participated in the inaugural year of the Bridgeton Handicap Singles League! I think a good time was had by all and we seemed to have ironed out any problems that may have existed in the beginning. The handicap system seems to working like it is supposed to, but we are certainly open to any suggestions that you might have. We are always looking to make improvements...

Yesterday concluded the league for 2012. We will be starting the league back up next Spring. The DST dates for 2013 are 3/10 and 11/3. Therefore, look for the league to start up around March 11th. I will post all of the details once we get a little closer to the date.

Dave has expressed an interest in starting up a new league for the winter months. Since daylight is at such a premium during this time, the only real option is to have the league during the weekend. If anyone has any suggestions or comments on this matter, please use this forum to do so.
