Course clean up day this sat. and next sat. 10 a.m.
We will be picking up trash & spreading mulch.

and parhaps actually marking your tee signs for the 'd' pin placements?

Goal for this Sat.:

Move all baskets to tournament positions (including tee markers) most are there now, spreading mulch if we can get it in time, picking up trash, and trimming up on a few holes.

I will Q up some hamburgers and dogs for lunch and I'm sure we'll get a singles round in after that.

If we get enough people we can get most of it done this weekend. If you can't make it this sat, we are having another one next Sat March 7th for more mulch spreading.

It's sneaking up on us fast, the c tiers are only 2 weeks away!

As Greg Dogh said yesterday "It's almost a crime to play a course all the time and not give somthing back, like pickining up trash." I think i spelled your name wrong Greg.

So bring it on, lets get J.B. in respectable tournament condition.

Just out of couriosity, what placements are you thinking about setting the course in for the tournament?

Most pins are in B & C with a few in D & A. I think 3 & 14 are the only ones left to move. Come check'em out.

Great Matt, thanks for all your help. I'm sure the course will look great come the day of the tournament. May I request "C" placememnt for holes 1,17(not ubber long, just around the corner) & 18?

Sorry homie already in d on both & 18 c. The general concences was to make a champion style set up. Par 56, I think. Play will move along in this set up. Players should be out of their line on 8/1 for putting, and 11/17 is always a back up with the close fairways. Those holes can make or break a player. I personaly was looking to put the pins in positions that you will need every shot in your bag. Short, long, extra long, lefty, righty you get the idea.

i will be at j.b early friday to try and clean up because i can not be there sat. i will try to thin out the honeysuckle on hole 10 pickup a little trash on holes 12/16/17 which by the way are by far the dirty holes of the course.oh if any one reads this and plans on playing jb in the next few days before the open bring a trash bag with you and pick up a little as you play it will help alot.so ill do my part but we need more help so thanks to any-one who helps....................................ok people clean it up ...play it up ....live it up ....

We have a huge pile of multch behind 15's basket that needs to be spread out any place you think it needs it.
