Mainly because # 6 is one of the signature holes on the course, & the B placement is the original & probably best placement for that hole. Also the sleeve for the A placement was messed up, not sure if that's still the case, & it DOES get moved to the C placement every now & then........I'm not much of a fan of the C pin, it's just length for length sake, & then leaves a stupid walk BACK to the next tee...
I'd like to see the baskets get moved MORE frequently out at Sioux, compared to Endicott or Bridgeton, some holes go months without getting moved. I think the WORST example of this this year has been hole # 8.....it is ALWAYS in the B pin position! That hole has three other placements, but you don't get to play any of those.....
