Disc up,
From the suburban journal.
Managed deer hunt set for Ellisville parkland. Bluebird Park, Klamberg Woods Conservation Area and all park trails in that area of Ellisville will be closed Nov. 6 to 8 and Dec. 4 to 6 for a Missouri Department of Conservation managed deer hunt in the Klamberg Conservation Area.

The Bluebird Park playground, park administration building and upper parking lot at 225 Kiefer Creek Road will remain open during this time.

The hunt will consist of five hunters chosen by a state lottery who have been approved by the Department of Conservation.

All hunting will be by crossbow from a raised portable deer stand.

No hunting is allowed less than 25 yards from the boundary of the Klamberg Conservation area.

For more information, contact the Ellisville Parks office at (636) 227-7508.

Might be a good time to avoid the course.

Hopefully the deer read the suburban journal and stay out of the park for those six select days. HaHaHa....

Yeah, I kinda like seeing the deer up close at Bluebird park. I love how they just stand there looking at me and chewing while I tee off only 10' away.
