Just a reminder...

Next Monday (9/3) is a national holiday, so there will be no Bridgeton Singles League. If I hear from enough people that they would like to play, I will try to get one of the other Gateway guys to run it for me. No promises that this will happen, so plan accordingly.

Due to sunlight restraints, I am going to start up a last tee time policy. From here on out, the last tee time available will be 2 hours before sunset. I am providing calendars for all of the sunset times during Daylight Savings Time (DST), so everyone should be pretty clear on what time you need to be to the course by.

To start things off, for the next league night (9/10), the last tee time available will be 5:18 PM.

This might require some modification down the road if 2 hours ends up not being enough time. Sunset times do not account for twilight, so typically you get around 30 minutes of "bonus" time before it is actually too dark to play...

After a 1 week holiday hiatus, we got back into the action with some of the best disc golf weather you could ask for. Why only 15 people showed up is beyond me. Maybe everyone decided to take a road trip and check out some of the surrounding area courses or something along those lines. Either way, that is the beauty of a weekly pay league...you don't need to feel obligated to show up EVERY week. I hope to see all of you regulars back next week!

The ACE POOL is getting up there, so come and get it!

We had a small discrepancy on the Hole 4 50/50, so the $12 will carry over to next weeks 50/50s. My apologies go out to anyone that feels like they might have been cheated out of a win. Unfortunately these things happen from time to time. I will do my best to make sure that everyone is 100% clear on the rules in the future.

Next week we will be playing from the white tees. After giving the 2 hours before sunset rule a test run, it looks like we will need to bump up the schedule a bit. From here on out, the last card will need to go out no later than 2.5 hours before sunset. I will, however, make an exception for 2-somes. 2-somes will be allowed to start up until 2.25 hours before sunset.

Next week's sunset schedule - Sunset is 7:07. 4-somes and 3-somes tee off up until 4:37. 2-somes tee off up until 4:52.
