I planed on playing at Bridgeton this Sat but came across something saying that the tournament at Kircher park has been moved to there. Just wanted to make sure so I don't show up.

What kinda notice do you expect from a state run series. Last years bluebird series. And I mean the series as a whole, not one or two of the events. Was not put together, organized, or run well at all.

Look Jay Adams, I don't know you, save for looking up your lapsed PDGA number, and the fact that Corey Campbell mentioned to me that you were volunteering to help at Bridgeton, of which I thank you. But you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to the Bluebird Series.
For not being involved or even there, posting that kind of rubbish is above you. But if you want to talk down something that you were not involved in? That is purely subjective speculation (translation you better lighten up the shade of rose in your glasses.).
Would you TD a tourney where the park and pavillion rentals are paid for, an assistant is provided to take all the money, keep the leaderboard and record the scores? Would you enter in a business relationship where a dollar a man goes to the club for every player who shows? Would you enter into business relationship that allows you to also be responsible for the payouts of the series? Would you enter into a business that can actually help the surrounding businesses grow with you, plus help the EDGE Experience dedicated to promotion of disc golf skills?
Last years Bluebird probably raised nearly a 1000 dollars cash for the three clubs, in a cooperative effort.
And for what?
Would you want to have an opportunity, (I guess this is a third person question since you never play in tourneys) to play against the top players from KC, Springfield and Columbia at a neutral location?
Would you want to have a shot at state funding, and state sponsorship for our clubs, West City, St. Charles & The RCF?

In answering the question why did that tourney move from Kircher? The players voted to move the tourney to Carrollton, to try to get more players involved with the series. But when players only do what you have done, speculate on here-say without ever being involved, the effort is never given a chance. But on Saturday September 8th, everyone who did play this series will enjoy the regional championship, and battle for a spot to become the next State Champ, simple enough for us, organized enough for us and the Bluebird Series Will back next year.

And P.S. even though we were there at Carrolton, we still allowed casuals to play if they wanted.

Huh, Sept 8th is the same day as the STL AM Championships. Last year the series final was on the same day as the RCF Championships. (I know which one I went go to). Seems like there would be better communication between whomever is running the series and the clubs. And 1000$ between 3 clubs that isnt even a basket each. And there are more tham 3 clubs in the STL area. Havent seen you at any RCF events this year Kane.. still a little pissy bout not being on the board this year?

Not pissy at all, if I am needed I would be there, as President if needed, but right now I am needed in other projects. Please remember Jay, I also was vice president and merchandising while coordiating the Bluebird, and negotiating for Bridgeton. I am not pissy I just like help make things work. If you need anything, help at Bridgeton, planning a tourney, just give me a shout, pm me.

There is a simple solution if you play the event and don't like it then you have the right to complain about it otherwise don't I ain't playing in this event because of last year. Which is not to say that this year things might be better but I cannot say since I ain't playin it this year. Regardless thank you Mr.Kane for all that you do!
