Well got approval from the Alton Park and rec for additional 9 baskets that would bring the park to 18 holes. Looking now for an Eagle scout candidate to do the project in which I would sponsor and assist the scout. Also will consult the leagues in the area for any help once i get things in place but its a good start.

Well this is pretty awesome news! I do hope, though, that someone with some disc golf knowledge will be assisting in the design of the next 9 holes........

Absolutely will not be done like the front nine. Also they approved long tees for the front which will allow the tee not to be right next to the last basket.

this is awesome, how long until it will be playable. gm is one of my favorite course to just get with a group and play for fun. cant wait!

This Sunday July 29, 2012 @ Gordon Moore DGC in Alton, IL around 09:00 on tee pad #1 we will be shooting 9 holes and then moving over to Rock Springs DGC in Alton for 18 holes of pure enjoyment.

Any info on the additional 9 holes being added to the course? Approval was 6 months ago, has it progressed any further since then?

This Sunday April 28, 2013 we will be at Gordon Moore DGC in Alton, IL around 9 am on tee pad #1. Always a fun round and easy to get to Fast Eddie’s from there. If you are not playing in the Alton event that day, come on out and get “LAKERED”.
I will not be in attendance at Gordon Moore DGC this Sunday as I will be assisting with the installation of the 2nd course at Sioux Passage and setting up LAKERland to have the MDA of nourishment, hydration, and safety for all. If you are not to tired from all of the early morning disc golfing, come on by after your round and give some time/get some eats. Hope to see you all.
