I checked out the course after work on friday (but only got through the front 9). It's going to be really nice to have 3 parks (EN, WB, and this one) all within 10min or so of work. Overall the course was nicely mowed and the holes were defiantly difficult. Watch out for ground hogs though, I ran into a couple packs of them and some of them are pretty big (15lbs+). I'd never been to that are before and the streets make for some good OB boundaries and the terracing in the fairways is interesting. I'm not sure if there is any more brush clearing planned, but some of the holes are hard to find or play if not. But maybe that was planned to just add to the difficulty.
Hole 1 -
A - Open fairway about 240' but protected by a sweet-gum tree.
B - About 50' past A, but through some pretty thick and tall brush
C - Off to the left of A near the road and under a tree, probably about 350-375'
Hole 2 - This tee was hard to find, 9C is just across the street from 1C and you must walk past there about 100' where the tee it tucked back between some brush.
A - Start by teeing off through a fairly narrow opening but then open besides some sparse trees. About 450' strait and you'll find the hole just before a terrace drop.
B - In line with A but about 50' to the left
C - 60' past A&B splitting the difference between, 30'-40' from road.
Hole 3 - After 2C you look left and it is actually 9 tee. But if you cross the street to your right then walk back up to the right about 300' the tee will be next to the treeline
A - Three terraces down hyzer shot and on the left behind some pine trees/bushes ~350'
B - About 10' further but is about 40' to the right
C - Much harder, about 40' past A with cypress trees blocking path and bushes protecting behind
Hole 4 - From 3B go out and around terrace wall to the right (by road)
A - There is a low fairway ceiling but short ~210' two terraces down and left about 70' backed by bushes
B - Strait shot, but a longer shot right next to some short bushes. Road is about 30' behind and to the right
C - 30' pas A placement, but heavily protected by some tall brush and a terrace
Hole 5 - From 4A can take a little path to find or 4B can walk on sidewalk and then back up to the left after clearing the brush
A - ???? Could not find, possibly one of the missing ones
B - Long shot uphill about 400'+ tucked on the left side behind a tree with back and side bushes
C - 60' past where B is, but on the right side of the fairway about 30' from the road on the right
Hole 6 - From 5B walk strait across the road and the tee is really close to the bush boarder
A - Short open fairway to the right down two terraces and off to the left ~210
B - Open strait shot down down another terrace from A about 30'
C - One again hidden behind some bushes about 30' past B
Hole 7 - From 6C go left about 75'
A - ???
B - Uphill about 4 terraces ~450' then there is a small pathway to get though the thick brush/treeline
C - Further left of B behind some bushes and 30' left is the road
Hole 8 - Another one that was hard to navigate from 7. But after 7B/C to uphill over the road then to the left about 2 streets and is almost in line with 2C basket.
A - About 300' strait but then tucked into the right side just pas a terrace with some bushes
B - Strait shot but about 500' and also basket would be just before about a 20' hill
C - In line with B on the hill but about 60' right, and a bigger drop-off for missed putts
Hole 9 - From 8A can cross the street and back left about 50'
A - Down some terraces ~450' shot with some trees throughout the fairway and off to the left.
B - Behind A about 40' but off to the left and protected behind and side by bushes
C - Hard to find but if you remember walking from 1 to 2 its about 50' past B but behind a lot of bushes
