This is it!!
Sunday, August 9, 2009 The TRAVELING LAKER LEAGUE will be at Festus for the big 27 hole round. We will start at Jokerst around 09:00 for a quick 9 holes, then on to West City for 18 holes of fun. This usually turns out to end around 2-3 in the afternoon, so plan accordingly. Maybe you can only make one or the other courses, that’s all right. Come on out anyway….. because it is fun to play!!

DAMN YOU GUYS. Just kidding. Busy lives means making choices. Unfortunately I choose family at the lake for this weekend in the beginning of the year. I do like the idea of a set schedule. All the clubs and leagues need to coordinate at the beginning of the year and come up with dates, and post those dates for everyone to see. Life is a continuous challenge, all challenges make us stronger... as long as they don't kill us.

This week (3/13/11) will be a split 9 either Jokerst/Arnold, or Arnold/Jokerst, depending on what is the preference, I will post which comes first after I can find out what the masses polled choose.

Disc Up LAKERS,
This Sunday March 13, 2011 at 09:00 hours the Traveling LAKERS will be starting at Arnold & then going to Jokerst. That way if it is too wet after this week’s rain we can double down at Jokerst, but the report given was that it was good to go. If you can't make the Arnold start, we are shooting the 2nd 9 holes at Jokerst in Festus.

Two reminders for this weekend.
1) JCS membership drive Saturday @ West City DGC
2) Daylight savings time ends Sunday morning. Be sure to move your clocks up 1 hour before you go to sleep Saturday night & change those batteries in your smoke detector. Bring the old batteries to LAKER league and give to Bruce for recycling.

This Sunday October 23, 2011 around 09:00 at tee pad #1, we will be in Festus at Jokerst DGC. This will be another one of the renowned LAKERS split 9.

Sunday June 10, 2012 the around 1 pm we will be convening at the entrance to The Cave to introduce the underground disc golfers to LAKERS style disc golf. Come on out and experience the awe and thrill of "the LAKERS going underground."
We will be playing Jokerst DGC before hand just to warm up if y'all want to come early.
