From what I can tell the county is rushin into this project way to fast. They HAVE to spend whatever money they get from the casino ASAP other wise they lose it. It also looks like they plan on building on a series of conecting sink holes ie holes 12 14 & 16. Ever wonder where all the water that collects in these areas goes to??? If my caculations are correct water alone is 8lbs per gallon. The pool alone will be aprox. 50000 gal at the least. Then you have to figure buildings and parking all that extra wieght. That's close to half a million lbs just water being placed on ground that has been slowly sinking since before the course was established. Maybe we can get the county to look at other places in lemay to put a pool. It also cost a hella lot more to run a pool than mow a fairway. And pools are only open for 3 to 4 months. Disc golf year in year out.

Well at least they acknowledge that on-going expenses will need to be subsidized. It looks like they want to tap daddy Casino some more.

Good luck with that. It seems every other township with a water park has to levy a sales tax.

Hell why not make another 18 hole course with the casino money...there is lot's of unused terrain that would make for some great holes.

There is a meeting on Wednesday evening at Hancock Elementary school which is just north of Hoffmeister on Broadway. I would hope that if you are not excited about losing 4-5 holes on the back nine that you would attend.I believe it starts around 6 or 630 on Wednesday evening.

Also I have been told that some people are throwing on holes when the maintenance people are cutting the grass. I hope that people will take care to not throw at the workers as there job is hard enough with all of the job cuts and everything else that they have to deal with. Besides we like the grass cut and if one of them gets hit by a frisbee they could stop cutting the grass for fear of being hit.

So please respect the park workers, I'm sure it was some newbies but nonetheless they could ruin it for all of us!

Excellent job clearing out holes 13 thru 16 it is amazing that it used to be a horrendous mess. Without our help they may not even of realized that they even had that space for a water park. The last place I am going to take my kid is that water park, the section 8'ers will steal your discs if you aren't looking, imagine your car parked right there, you in there swimming, and your car being fondled for an unlocked opening.
