2012 White Birch Spring League- 3/29 -- 5/17

On Thursday, March 29th, at White Birch Park in Hazelwood, the annual Spring League will begin.

Two person teams, playing two rounds of the "best disc" format, for 8 weeks, tee time is 6:00 P.M.

There will be awards to the top teams, & there will be 3 different flights.

Entry fees are -- $10 for res., $12 for non-res.

Participants should be prepared for some night, glow golf, as we play two rounds each evening..... Come join the longest running league in STL area......going strong ever since 1981!!

how does the entry fee work? it is $12 per team each week or is it $12 per person per week?

also, do you pay out each week or do teams get paid out after all 8 weeks scores are in?

The reason I ask is because I am leaving this thursday for the bowling green ams but after that I would like to come out and play.

Okay......no, no,......the entry fee is $12 per person & that covers the entire league, all 8 weeks. Because this league is run by Hazelwood park & rec., there isn't really any payout, per se, your playing for trophies & perhaps other prizes. We do always run an Ace pool, & there are many aceable holes out at White Birch! It's more of a for fun league than a come out & win the big money type of thing.......but we DO have a ton of fun, I assure you of that........

Do you mean waiting until after week 3 to divide everyone into flights or divisions?? I'm not positive but I would guess that's how it will be done. I'd ask Dave W. & Bob W. next Thurs., just to be sure that's the game plan........
