CCCC or Creve Coeur Crop Circles

With the "NO MOW" policy coming to this great DGC, has there been any talk of "Crop Circles" by volunteers to keep the grass down and the fairways playable? Would the parks department allow it?

It has been discussed. No, the parks dept won't allow it.

There is also the mysterious new maintenance building that may be taking over the space where 14, 16, 17 and 18 are.

The Baskets are pulled from Creve, so we held our part of the bargain, so we can put them back in when?

I heard it was sometime in the middle of October.

Yeah, basically after the last time they mow the grass before winter.

The Club has received confirmation that the baskets can be put back in on October 13th, the Saturday after the Club Championships.

Perhaps an informal 2013 RCF tag battle with a small $$ entry could be in order that afternoon.

A lot of memories...Glad to see at this time that we didn't lose this course. Fall/Winter play better than nothing.

They should publish a list or something,shouldn't they? Or is that not cost effective either?

From what I last heard, the maintenance building was suspended in the ether, like the future of the course. The project was suspended for further financial and budget reviews. We'll find out when/if ground breaks on the building and not a moment before.

Just went past Creve today, looks nice; if it was one of those wildlife refuges, or an entomalogical research center.
You could not even sit in the parking lot without being swarmed by bugs.

We have a perfectly good Kiosk with out of date, I mean Retro, flyers.
