$70 Baskets.

Postby Stubborn Puppet on Tue Feb 21, 2012 5:40 pm

Hey, it's not an amazing portable basket, but it is an amazing price. $70

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA02D05X7043&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL022112&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL022112-_-EMC-022112-Index-_-GolfAccessories-_-9SIA02D05X7043-L026C

I would have never thought to look for a disc golf basket on a computer website... but whatever.
It's got decent reviews of which the only "con" seems to be that the 3 discs it comes with are garbage, but who cares.

Re: Excellent Deal on Portable Basket

I got in on this deal, seems like a pretty decent basket for the price and if you add about $20 in chains to add an inner layer I heard that it is pretty good. I guess we'll see.

Oh well, for the time being, this offer is over. They are back up to $101.
I'll keep my eye on it and post again if they go back on sale.

this exact basket in on ebay for $89 and free shipping. I just bought one of these last week, and it took about 3 days to get it. Yes the 3 discs that come with it are trash. The driver is called "pluto" the midrange is called "saturn" and the putter is called "mercury". The wife uses them to mess around as she is just now learning how to play, but outside of that they are crap. The basket is actually pretty sturdy, it goes together pretty quickly and has 2 height settings. It was WELL worth the $89.

Do you have a link? I can't find it by browsing ebay.

this is the one that $89. It seems they took it off the normal listing view. I think they are going to be upping the price to $99.99 as that listing is on there now. I had to browse old history to find this link, but still is active.

Costco has the $69.99 baskets back in stock now!

They are the black and orange ones like the one I've been bringing out to the events since last year. Hey, they're no Titan portable, but they sure are an excellent buy for $70. I just bought a second one today.
