Unless you have played PDGA or even knew this person, just know he represented this sport in so many ways. He will be missed.
Peace,
:(

Disc Golfers,
We had one of our own, Pat Wooley, pass away this last Friday, 2/3. Many of you know Pat and all have probably seen him on the course at some point. Pat was a valuable member of the JDGC, a disc golf enthusiast that helped promote disc golf in the Four State area including Miami and Neosho, and he was a great friend to many of us. He was the main reason the JDGC was able to purchase new baskets for McClelland Park and was instrumental in many disc golf events and activities in our area.

Below is the link to his obituary. If anyone is planning to go on Thursday, some of us will be meeting in the Sam's Club parking lot in Joplin at 12:00 noon to carpool down to Miami. Weather and time permitting, we may even get in a memorial round of disc golf in Miami after the Life Celebration service. Please keep Pat's family in your prayers.

Thanks,
JDGC Officers
