On Sunday July 18, 2010 at 9am we will be doing a warm-up for LAKERSFEST by shooting a round at El Shaddia. Come on out and renew yourself with the ranch before the nighttime event. Bryan ( owner of the ranch) has noticed a big dropoff in disc golfers on the course and was wondering if rumors were going around about the course. I assured him that we had only heard about pay per play and Sunday church services. He told me that the course is still free for play and there is no Sunday church services. Then I asked him if the dropoff in play was any worse than last summer and he said he did not think so. We both agreed the heat probably had a big factor in the lack of disc golfers. Bryan sez that this Sunday is open for the LAKERS to play, as well as anyone else.
Lets try to get a large turnout so he can see that there is still plenty of support for this shining star of a course. On the flip side this will give you a good chance of finding where you want to set your tent (if your using a tent, or RV, or camper) and where we should set up the Kan-Jam, wiffle ball and other games.
This is always a fun course and doubled with The Traveling LAKERS, you just might get more laughs in before noon than most people get in a week. Remember, laughter is great for the heart.
