22nd Annual Holly Daze - SP - 12/10/2011

I will be at the Holly Daze with tags and discs for anyone who wants to join the club for 2012. Remember you can choose to receive free entry to the event (w/o payout) for joining the club, $20. You also receive free entry to the Club Championships in October for our 'end of the year' event. There are other goodies as well. Thanks in advance for investing in disc golf. $5 of your membership is earmarked for your Home Course and It is though our member's dollars that we have what you enjoy today. Help us keep this game 'free to play' and help us grow the sport of disc golf.
PS. We will have 2 kegs of beer on tap for this event. (That alone is worth the price of membership). The Club has 310 members so far for 2012. I look forward to growing this club to 500 members in time for the St Louis Open, May 5 and 6, 2012. Thanks again for joining us.

Nikko won. The weather was the best gift both given and received and I believe there were over 70 golfers.

i'd like to give a quick shout out to corey (warboss on the forums) and his crew, who put together a rib-sticking chili/fritos and grilled cheese lunch with drink for a nominal cost, on site and on short notice. i believe they even had grilled PB&B (the king's favorite!) for those who couldn't abide the other offerings.

corey says he's willing and able to serve as a food vendor for RCF events again, so hopefully we'll be seeing more of him and his tasty vittles at events around town!

Very cool! Thank you warboss and buddies! Ted...can you pass the word along that they are welcome to help us/everyone out at any event that they would like to? We would honestly just need to know what events they would like to help out at. I know it is tough, but I would love to have about a month's notice so that I could get their shout-out put on the flyers too. Sweet!...is this the beginning of a new good food baron?

Discdoh, Consider me signed for kitchen duty. I have to nail down a sitter for Saturdays but that is not typically an issue with some notice. Really all I need is a general idea of how many we're feeding to make it happen.
