I reckon that the LAKERS will be ridin into town around 11:00 to midday. It is always hard to tell how much giddy up we have until we start sailing on the heavens currents. Figure about 90 to 120 minutes to fool around at Kircher DGC, drive time, and possibly a stop for vittles. You can give me a call on my cell, but I tend to leave it in the car when playing. That way I could call you when we are leaving Kircher DGC.

Disc Up LAKERS,
This Sunday October 23, 2011 around 09:00 at tee pad #1, we will be in Festus at Jokerst DGC. This will be another one of the renowned LAKERS split 9. The second 9 holes will be at Arnold DGC, in all probability around 11:00 to 12:00 for that tee off.
Ace runs at each park and you can see the hole-n-1 total in the signature.

Disc Up LAKERS,
On Sunday October 30, 2011 around 9 am at West City DGC in Festus, we will be playing one of the longest and toughest courses in the vicinity. I do not expect a large turnout because this is a very draining and challenging courses and a fair amount of disc golfers just cannot handle that much fun while playing a tough course, but if you are up to it we will be glad to have you.

Disc Up LAKERS,
The LAKERS have been invited to attend a tournament at a privately owned disc golf course in Springfield, MO on the weekend of November 12-13. Here are some of the details;
2 rounds Saturday on a private 18 hole disc golf course & 1 round on Sunday. $20
Camping provided, breakfast and dinner offered for a nominal charge.
Additional 9 hole "natural cedar" baskets course can be played.
Night golf is possible, we should try to bring our basket lights.
I should find out more this Sunday 10-30-11. A event has been made for this on facebook. At the very least it sounds like a great road trip for "The Traveling LAKERS" to make. Joe is has invited around 20 people from Springfield, 10 from Columbia, and is hoping we can bring around 10 or more LAKERS.



It sounds like there is a herd of Arkansas players coming up for Sunday.

Disc Up LAKERS,
On Sunday November 6, 2011 around 9 am on tee pad #1, we will start our round @ the DGC in St. Genevieve, MO. We have been told that if we bring some portable baskets we will be able to play at least 12 holes of the proposed new layout, eupher61 we are talking to you. A long drive but it is a great course, the way we play it, and the baskets always leave you the chance of getting “Frenched”.

Well, I've still no idea what you mean... but I'll plan a "Bed and Breakfast" retreat with my wife for this coming spring and pull the old, "Oh, cool honey... they have a DG course here..."
