Since this weekend is the Club Championships, Player's Tour at Quail is canceled.
Well, I won't be able to make it, so if someone else wants to run it, then be my guest, but I won't be available to run it since I have a prior engagement.

Next Meeting 10/22 at Rock Spring Park In Alton, IL. - $10 Buy In - 9:00AM (sharp) Tee Off

Jeff,
What about the Ozarks this weekend, it is happening. Most of the locals will not b there and our types are welcome. I am leaving after work on Friday and will set up camp in the dark 2 hrs after work. All packing will be done thrus. night. You need to see this place and guarenteed good time. Bring your other half, also, it is all good. 2 days camping food, private property, bring all things you will need for 2 days.

Peace

Ron,
I appreciate that, I'm sure it would be a good time, but I've just got too much other stuff going on to loose a whole weekend to DG. The league is great because it is 2 competitive (yet fun) rounds early on Saturday morning, we'll be done by 2 or 3 and I can still get some other stuff done that afternoon/night. I'd also like to play the benefit tourney in Highland on Sunday if I can get a team together. Anyway, enjoy the Ozarks!

Thats actually not true, I showed up and waited until 5 after 9. No one showed and I didn't get any calls to let me know people were running late. There were a couple casuals around but they left around 9. I did see one person putting, but looked like he was waiting on friends to show up so I left and went to play the 9er across town. Sorry if that was you and I missed it.
It is a new league and hasn't really picked up much momentum (yet) because there have been a lot of conflicting events on league weekends...
We'll be at Sioux Passage on November 5th, so give it another try.

Yeah, that was me. Were you in the White Hyundai? If so, I apologize, we hadn't met before, so I wasn't sure if you were looking for the league, or just waiting around for a couple pals to come up for a round. Hopefully, you can come on out and give it another shot.

Next Meeting: 11/5/11 Sioux Passage. $10 for 2 Rounds of 18. 9:00 AM Tee Off - Bag lunch encouraged
