I swear, it looks like a stuffed panda humping a monkey.

Dan, the panda lives in the hole at the bottom of the hill in between holes 3 and 4 and the monkey lives in the drainage pipe in the middle of the shule on hole 5. They occasionally meet at basket 4A for a little action.

I see your point, Jeff. I think what I will do is let all of the 50/50 and CTP winners pick their favorite hole. I will fill in the blanks after that. In all honesty, saying that the low team got to pick the course was really an over exaggeration anyway. Basically, they just got to help me lay out the course. I have to make sure that there are enough short holes and that the layout works for the amount of daylight that we have. Either way, I think that this is a better/more fair way to allow people to contribute to the course design.

On another note, I have figured out the splits. I had a few other people help me out with this...it was probably the hardest split I have ever had to figure out. As usual, not everyone is going to agree, but I think I did the best that I can. Remember that everyone at least gets a $10 voucher, so no one will leave empty handed. Since there are only 4 divisions, I will be giving 1st and 2nd place finishers plaques this time (if 3rd place would like them too, they can pay cash and I will have them made up as well). It is some awesome Neil Brown art after all!

Here are the standings after Week 6....

I had to make some minor adjustments to the divisional splits. Ocassionally it is necessary to make sure that I am not totally screwing any teams over. In the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't make that much of a difference, other than keeping some teams from resenting my divisional splitting abilities.

There were no ACES, so the ACE POOL should be over $400 next week! It might be time to quit thinking about your score and start going for ACE runs every chance you get!

I have also attached the course layout. As you will notice, there are plenty of short holes for everyone to feast on...

Hum 18D I guess that MANDO will be in play

Putting 18 in d with a mando is stupid. I understand ron's concern with speed of play, but if u put the mando in play then it is no longer a risk reward position and it turns into a shitty hole. D no mando, or no d. That is my 2 cents, and my partner and I did shoot the hot round.

In my opinion you need to enforce the mando on 18 at all times for both speed of play and safety.
But while saying that if the mando is not enforced I will throw left of the trees.
But it just really isnt safe for people on 10

Oh I forgot to mention I dont really care for 18 in D position. But if you enforce the mando it becomes a whole that can turn into a 4 in a hurry.

If the signs are up the Mando should be in play for all positions IMO. It does take away the reason D is a cool/risky position and turns it into a vanilla hole. There should be a decision one way or another though or people will continue to play it however they wish.
