The Battle at the Barracks 2011 - JB Singles Fall League

Here is some info for the next JB league activity...

This is a SINGLES league.

It is an ACE RACE format.

It pays out on a weekly basis, so you do not need to show up for every week...show up 1 week or all 7 weeks.

Don't forget that the league starts up next Tuesday! Show up when you can.

The last card (my card) will be going out no later than 1:45 before sunset each week, so please keep this in mind.

Week 1 - 9/20 - 7:03 pm - last card 5:18
Week 2 - 9/27 - 6:52 pm - last card 5:07
Week 3 - 10/4 - 6:41 pm - last card 4:56
Week 4 - 10/11 - 6:30 pm - last card 4:45
Week 5 - 10/18 - 6:20 pm - last card 4:35

Here are the tentative payouts for the league. It is based on a top 1/3 payout scenario. If it seems like it is too watered down after the first week, I might modify it for a top 1/4 payout. We will just have to wait and see.

There will be 2 x 50/50 CTPs available for an extra $2. In addition to the "cash money" 50/50s, the $2 will also get you in on 1 or 2 other CTPs. There will not be any FREE CTPs, so if you want to be able to write your name down an any of the flags you will need to throw in the extra $2. The extra money raised from the 50/50s will go towards the BBQ party that will be held on the final week.

Week 1 is in the books. I had all of this figured out yesterday, but forgot to post it. Here you go...

Unfortunately, fellas, it looks like this coming Tuesday will be my last where I will be able to make it to the course early. I will need someone that can get to the course early to work with me. I need someone to help check everyone in and send everyone out. I won't lie, it is kind of a PIA, but someone has to do it. I will provide my assistant (AKA "Coolest JBer Ever") with all of the tools needed...CTP flags, CTP prizes, sign-in sheets, scorecards, and whatever else I am forgetting. I will be getting to the course around 5:30 each week, and still plan on playing the rounds with my LED blinky lights. Because of this, payouts will have to wait until the following week.

I will still be taking care of all the stats and payouts, so my assistants efforts will only need to go as far as check-in/card assignments each week. For your efforts, you will get to play each week free of charge. This is not much, but it is the best I can do on a weekly payout scenario.

If you are interested, please let me know and we can start talking about the specifics.

Thanks, Brad. I really appreciate it. At the moment, I have Atti lined up to take care of next week. If you feel like giving him a hand, I am sure that he would not oppose. I am giving him the "league bucket" with the sign in sheets, CTP flags, CTP prizes, and winnings from last week that were not distributed yet. It really shouldn't be too much of a hassle, other than having to be the last card that goes out...

BTW, I won't be getting to the course until 5:30, so if anyone feels like joining me for the late-late round, just let me know. The last 6 holes or so will probably be played with the LED lights attached, so this is a rare opportunity to get some glow in at JB.
