We are off and running!

Here are the standings after Week 1....

We have 36 teams this time around. Not too bad!

Also, I have a bunch of vouchers leftover from the Spring and Summer leagues. Please check the list and see if you or any of your friends are on it. I have them all in my league box. The next time you see me please ask and you shall receive. Whatever vouchers are still in my possession at the end of the league season (after The Battle at the Barracks) will be used to purchase CTPs for the 2012 league season.

Here are the standings after Week 2...

We had a few more teams sign up for league, so we are up to 39 teams. That is about as big as the league can get without running into time issues, so we are looking good! The course will only be getting shorter as the weeks progress, so I don't forsee any darkness issues coming up.

No ACES were hit, so the ACE POOL should be well over $150 next week.

Aaron Walther & Scott Houska are going to be setting the pins for the next 2 weeks...their team shot the hot round Week 2, so I figured why not give them a chance at the course design. I will post the layout just as soon as I hear back from them.

Here is the layout, courtesy of AW & SH. I told him 6,000 ft. + a little, and he came in looking great. I think we might get back to a double digit score here and there...

It is going to be one hell of a hot day! It is 93 degrees right now in Brentwood, and it looks like the forecast is calling for 101 degrees for the high. Please drink plenty of water beforehand and bring plenty of water to drink during the round. I might even suggest that anyone who decides to have a few adult beverages should alternate between 12 oz. of beer and water. And as always, play it to the shade! See you there in a few hours...

It is great to see that the LAKERS are not the only crazy disc golf loving fools out playing on this hot day. I was talking with the devil earlier and he sez "I want my weather back!"

The team that shoots the hot round Week 4 will get to pick the layout. As always, there will be some restrictions, but I will try to be as congenial as possible.
