Is there a event at Highland IL, soon?

Talk has been going around of a tournament at Highland, IL, yet I cannot find any postings anywhere. Does anyone know if this is truth or rumor? If so, please post the date/time for the Traveling LAKERS will work this into our schedule.

last i heard from Steve (Burdick i think?) who bases his alton club out of rocksprings, is that the course is CLOSED.

something about endangered migratory birds and pins had to be pulled/moved, so they shut down the whole thing.

i have not verified this with dave mac or anyone else yet, but i'd consider steve a reliable source of info.

perhaps someone on here more well informed can chime in...

Okay......for starters I was at Rock Spring Park in Alton maybe a week ago & there was a flyer for a tournament in Highland. Unfortunately, I didn't study it much & don't recall any details, sorry. Secondly....the course has possibly been pulled??? WHAT????? I hope that sure isn't true. A few of us have been considering going out there sometime soon, so IF this is true, it would be nice if someone would let us all know here......
