Quail Ridge 2011 Spring League

I would like to thank those that have assisted me with running league. Thankyou to Shane for helping with sign ins. Brain Walls for helping with signins and for moving pins each week which adds to the fun. thankyou TC and Terry for posting scores and flighting the league. Both flighted the league identically. Terry will be my poster of scores since it works better logistically. I know TC will help with other things. Also thanks to Shanx for all he does. If anyone else would like to help please see me. This is a team effort. My apologies for messing up on the CTPs. My mistake. Any other concerns can be directed to me in person. Thankyou.

Terry. The league or anything involved with the league is not a waste of time. But having two people doing the same work is. Again I'm not upset at anyone. I just want to be as efficient as possible. I am fairly busy outside the wide world of disc golf so I want to make sure that time that I do give makes the biggest impact for our sport and St. Charles county. So thank you,terry, for posting scores and flighting the league. St. Charles needs more guys that are willing to step up do the little things (that is not a dig at any one person but just a statement of fact).

I may have some cool news but I can't talk about it until after Tuesday.

Two tourneys at quail coming up:
This Saturday May 14 the fund raising tourney to help support families who have lost babies and young children. I know this has personally effected my family and the families of other golfers. So let's come out and support.

On May 28th is the next blue bird tourney. If you did not play the first one it's not too late. Let's show the people running the series why disc golf is so great and why we need more courses.

I stayed around and collected the scores and CTP's after playing my round. I wanted to see if it would help to refine the score posting process. It did help quite a bit, but it did upset the wife that I was gone for so long tonight. I need to refine it a bit more so that I can make everyone happy.

There were also 2 Aces hit tonight. Chuck Hoffman hit an ace on Hole 6 and Scott Paul hit an ace on Hole 12. They will split the available pool. I will edit this post as soon as I find out what the split is.

Ace pool was at 342. Chuck and Scott's portion are 137.00 each with 20% 68.00 going into next weeks pool. Nice aces and congratulations to the both of you.
