2011 White Birch Spring League

Well.......It's almost that time of year again, so I thought I'd post the Spring League info!

The Hazelwood Spring League at White Birch Park will start on Thursday, March 31, at 6:00 p.m. This is a doubles, pick your partner, Best Disc, 8-week league. Fees are $10 for Hazelwood resident, $12 for non-res.

I'm pretty sure we have always started on the first Thurs. in April so, notice the earlier start this year. Oh yeah, we play TWO rounds of golf, so some glow-in the dark night golf should be expected.

is it the summer or fall league when you and bob start doing all of the wacky jazz?

i have a couple offers for partners for a WB league of some form, but don't have a glow setup.

if summer is ran same as spring, i might have to pony up for summer league.

edit: now that i think about it, isn't summer where you guys do the standard layout, but change up the formats? best disc/worst disc/alt tees/alt shots jazz?

Okay, the spring league is USUALLY pretty straightforward, just best shot (best disc), playing the regular course setup (& sometimes throwing in the short tees to mess with people -- ).


The summer league is usually when we throw in different formats... such as alternate shot, Best score, Combined score, etc., etc. Still playing a regular course setup.

The Fall league is USUALLY when we do a wacky course setup.........

Lastly, don't let worries of playing glow golf keep you from playing, Bob W. will have as always both glow stickers for the discs & blacklight LED lights for glowing up the discs, & he doesn't charge much for those.....

yeah, it did.

i'm not opposed to doing the summer league with all of the alt formats, but the wacky alt pins and all that jazz in fall just isn't for me.

plus i'd rather have a righteous glow setup to do the spring league as i need one anyway.
