beer stores along 270 and by qr

Playing QR on Sunday with the Lakers and was wondering if anyone knew of any package liquor stores on the North side(along 270, or up by QR) that have excellent beer selection. I saw that friar tucks are all on the South side of stl. Thanks

Dirt Cheap Liquors has a good selection. There is one between Lilac and Belfontaine on Hwy 270 (north side service road), one at Cave Springs & Hwy 70 (north side of hwy), as well as one at Hwy 70 & hwy K/M (south side of hwy.).

If you are wanting something along Hwy 70 there is a Dad's liquor store at 70 and LSL Blvd. It is right on the dam. Not as good of a selection as Friar Tuck's, but still decent. And please, no glass bottles at the course! Not that anyone every listens to me though...

cool I'll probably just stick to friar tucks though. I understand the sentiment about glass bottles...luckily I'm playing Laker League at 9am...way early to hit the booze for me. They do need to carry more variety of beer in cans though, I know they can good beer, it's just tough to find. Also I usually pack bottles out, even though that's not the point in your eyes Person with bottles on course=other people seeing it and assuming bottles are ok on the course=broken glass on course=tough to pick up and dangerous.

Also anyone have a recommendations for a growler of beer from trailhead?
