I'll be in stl area about 10-11 an on New Year's Eve 2013. Looking for people to show me around or throw some. I'm interested in Jeff barracks course and Sioux passage. I've already played endicott and Carrollton. If you recommend a certain course please respond also. Thanks

Although I have not personally played the course, I have heard some pretty awesome things about the course at Logan College in Chesterfield. The course opened just a couple months ago.

Hope that you enjoy your stay and have a happy New Year!

If you are at the Arch -

Jefferson Barracks (nice variety/nice length/medium difficulty) is about 15-20 minutes South. There usually are people at the course all day every day, so you should probably be able to find some locals to hook up with. Widely considered the most popular course in the area. Should be scorecards with maps in the kiosk. If not, here is the link to the scorecard and map...http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course_files/48/78d5d770.jpg & http://stlouisdiscgolfclub.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/JeffersonBarracks_Scorecard.pdf

Sioux Passage (big length/mostly openish holes/some nasty tall grass/hard difficulty) is about 30-35 minutes North. Its a bit out of the way, so you might be all on your own unless you set something up beforehand. There should be scorecards with maps in the kiosk. Of the established courses, this is usually considered the Crown Jewel of STL. Logan University (huge variety/nice mix of length/several epic hole designs/tough difficulty) is the newest addition to the area. It is about 25-30 minutes West. There has been a fair amount of traffic since it opened up, but you never know. The natural teepads can get a bit sloppy, but I think they should be frozen solid tomorrow. The course is a little tough to navigate with some longer walks here and there, but the design more than makes up for it...AWESOME! Hope this helps!
Hoppy 2013!

I really like Willmore, and it's 5 minutes from Jefferson Barracks. Also, once the sun goes down, you could check out the course in the cave at Crystal City Underground - not the best course overall, but it is definitely the most unique and memorable disc golf experience one is likely to have.

Give me a call if you want to catch a ride to the Headache Bowl tomorrow, 314-583-3340. Fun event and always a great time. Playing this course from the blues will test you. Leaving my place at 9.
