While I admire the idea of a virtual séance, I question the choice of Alfalfa. This is a Club goal, and Alfalfa repeatedly showed his disloyalty to the He-Man Woman-Haters club by defecting every time Darla batted her eyes at him.

I think if we are going to call on the Supernatural to achieve this goal, we should summon the spirit of a recently-departed celebrity that is sure to unify the 99.999% male disc golf demographic...I say we summon Bettie Page!
Help us, Bettie. We have been very bad boys...

Disc up,

This is a invite for all to come out and play at 09:00 on Sunday, December 28,2008, at Woodland Chains in Collinsville, IL. I will be bringing tag #44 out & it is up for grabs.
Kind of a cheesy way to get a plug in for LAKER play & get my entry in for this contest but what the heck, 2 birdies with 1 toss.

Fly long & prosper!

Alfalfa was the muscle behind the most ruthless and secretive organization of the 20th Century known to its members simply as "Our Gang" and, as you doubtless already know, was the basis for Joe Pesci's character in Goodfellas (though they had to tone down the reality of his rampages for the film). Like many who choose the thug life, Alfalfa died violently and young. Some say it was over a dog, some say it was over money but what too few know is that Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer was really gunned down by the hand of none other than George Bailey of It's A Wonderful Life fame. His offense? Opening a gymnasium floor during a dance and drenching George and his date in the pool below. That one act ignited in George Bailey a murderous rage that would later explode from a gun barrel directly and mortally into Alfalfa's one vulnerable region: his groin.

That's helped leave his unquiet spirit readily and cheaply available for summoning.

And now you know...... the rest of the story.
