I saw this on another site and thought it was a pretty cool idea. What we're going to start doing in January is a virtual Ring of Fire right from the comfort of your home computer.
On Jan. 1st I'll post a new topic in the Club Inventory part of the Equipment forum. All you have to do to "make your toss" is post a reply in the thread.
On Jan. 31 I'll have our moderator select a random member of the forum as the winner. If this member has posted in the thread then they win! The winner will be announced on Feb. 1st when next month's Ring of Fire starts.
Here is the catch: On 12/17/09 there are 60 Total Members (of the forum). In order for anyone to have a shot at winning, 65 (different) people have to reply to the thread. *Please no creating alternate accounts.

This also creates responsibility for the rest of the members to advertise our site & get more of their friends online.
I'll be shooting for 75 in February. I can already tell you that the prize for Feb. will be a CFR BOSS and maybe a t-shirt. The more people that come the better the prizes will get. Hopefully we can do a bag or basket by the end of the year. It all depends on how much success we have with these first few.
