har har.

i know throwing from the pro tees adds about, 20 feet, to the total distance. but i've never thrown from them, so i'm hoping this'll be a random draw doubles thing so i can pick up pointers.

well then, unless someone has a camera they want to get pictures from and can give me pointers on its operation (since i know folks want pictures of rcf events, as mentioned in another thread), i'm out.

i've never thrown from the pro tees before and i'm not about to embarass myself as bad as i did at rockspring.

i'll check this thread again in the morning, but otherwise, if someone wants me there for photog duties, call me at 314-795-6453.

Disc up golfers,

Mike you can't embarass yourself around us, we are LAKERS, and with us, you never have to wait long for a funnier toss on each throw, especially when it is my turn. We missed ya! Come on out next Sunday at Endicott. You missed a real laugher on Sunday. There were 14 of us out at Hazelwood and after 18 holes we had a playoff between Brad & FPA with a 50. Now when there is a playoff, the hole-n-1 is still active so everyone can continue to play. So when Brad shot a 5 on the first playoff it looked like it was all over because FPA shot a par, but wait, suddenly Red shoots a birdie on the first hole and takes over Brads spot for win because he was only 1 stroke off, gidditty. :o After 3 more playoff holes Red finally slipped up and shot a 4 while FPA shot a par to take the victory & $14 :!:
We had more LAKERS than total other golfers on the course, what a fine time at Hazelwood, with no one pushing us. With that many players we were able to get a sweepstakes skin round, every hole worth $1. Stu collected a $4 skin, Tommy G. snagged a $1 skin, and Brad got a $12 skin. That left $1 carried over for skins. As predicted earlier no got a hole-n-1 so the the ace pool should be around $149-154.
Sunday, February 1, will be at Endicott at 09:00. Come on out and have some fun & exersize b4 the big super bowl parties. ;) Who will be the champs :? Who will win the coin toss :?: Who cares, just bring on the commercials.

endicott sounds like a plan, especially since it (should) be much warmer next sunday. yes, i am a pussy, but more importantly, i just can't keep my hands warm when it gets too cold, bad circulation.

if the temp does get too low, i'll still offer to do photog duties. it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to just tag along and watch and learn anyway.

Disc up Mike,

They say you are what you eat, so be glad you are not a dick. Sunday is supposed to be in the 40's, so come on out and have some fun with the LAKERS. Bring your camera just in case, please. Francis plays most of the time and he usually is very willing to give pointers, if asked. He has a vast knowledge of disc golf to share, and is a pretty good player.
If I cannot make it out this Sunday, I will be busy working on a disc golf course out west. :D

i don't have a camera of my own, but perhaps my upcoming birthday will solve that problem :).

what's the format gonna be for endicott?

i'm split right now between doing endicott or going out to collinsville tonight and doing the roxana/siue/principa (and maybe woodland and rockspring) swing between saturday and sunday.
