This is an interesting concept on several levels. It looks like PDGA members who play in a PDGA sanctioned league will earn ratings and points for league rounds. This could help local golfers get invites to events such as AM Worlds and whatnot. If leagues were PDGA sanctioned it could possibly get the more casual golfers involved and playing in larger, sanctioned tournaments.
It seems like there have been 2 perspectives in the past, do you cater towards the casual golfers who account for the majority of the players and disc purchasers, or do you cater to the tournament players who want to see St. Louis known as a disc golf mecca in the midwest. Maybe this will serve as a happy medium, or at least a starting point. What do you guys think?
