Disc Up,
That is what the locals call it when your disc slides from one side of the basket, thru the middle of the basket, up the other side and out of the basket! The baskets are very unique in the fact that they are saucer shaped, hence the slip and slide routine. A added bonus is that the chains are not very forgiving, if you hit the outer chains then figure on another stroke. Still a fun course to play. Wish you were coming out, after all the LAKERS are made up of 90% entertainment.

This Sunday November 20, 2011 we will be playing Kister’s DGC around 9am. If you need directions to John’s course give me a call, pm, email, or just ask and I will get them to you. A good time will be held out near Truxton, MO.

This Sunday November 20, 2011 we will be playing at Collinsville, IL at the Woodland Chains DGC. Around 9 am at tee pad #1. A great park to spend a Sunday at.
We will try to get back to Kisters before the end of the year.

Kister's DGC is closed this weekend as well, John will give us a date in the future to come to his course.

Now we have changed course assignment to play a split 9 on the east side. The first 9 will be at Roxana DGC and then we will finish up at Gordon Moore Park for the final 9. The start time is around 9am on tee pad #1 in Roxana. Hopefully this message is not to late but I just got the news. See y'all on the east side, Sunday.

Today during LAKER league Q and Larry got into the paper at Gordon Moore. Copy and paste the link below for the story and photo. Coming out to LAKER League sure has some stories, when asked how long we had been playing we told the reporter about 2 hours now. He almost fell over laughing, we not only shared our good time with him but also helped him get a story before noon which he liked.

On Sunday December 4th, 2011 we will be shooting a round at Silver Lakes DGC in Highland, IL. We will meet by tee pad #1 around 9 am.
Last week we made the Alton Telegraph, photo and all. Just goes to show, the LAKERS are makin it happen. Come on out and experience the wonder and absurdity that is Traveling LAKER disc golf.

Disc Up LAKERS,
10 LAKERS showed up for a round @ Silver Lakes today. We started dry and warm and ended up wet and cold, rain started by hole #2 and stayed until #15 as the wind shifted from the SW to the NE. It was a great day to be on the course, Francis beat the field by at least 2 strokes on a sweepstakes day. The water came into play today more than all of the other rounds I have played before added together.

Third time is a charm, Sunday December 11, 2011 around 9am at John's house is where we will be meeting to start play at Kister's DGC. I should have directions available by Thursday 12-7-11.
A nice way to finish up the weekend after Saturdays Holly Daze event @ Souix Pass.

Sunday December 18, 2011 around 9am we will be meeting on tee pad #1 in Alton at the Rock Creek DGC. This course was just used for the JB nooner, so it should be in great shape for us to use.
Still got some Schnapps to vaporize, come on out and help.
Try parking as soon as you turn in the park on the left, I hear that is the only spot and the police have been vigorously patroling since the holiday displays had been damaged.
