Disc Up LAKERS,
There is no LAKER League this Sunday as we are in Peoria, IL for
the Traveling Outlaw Event. The LAKERS team is looking for the title again this year, especially since the payout is 5 to 1. That means you put down $25 and can win $150. Anyone who wants to come up Saturday can play in the Peoria DGC membership event (2 rounds at a course we cannot use on Saturday) and then party/camp with us on Saturday night and see what we are about on Sunday. Just give me a call for directions if you are coming.

Disc Up LAKERs,
We can't do any worse, only better. Blame the old captain, who did not do a well enough job. Instead he split his duties and hurt the team somewhat. Wait, that is me, :o  . Next year there is a new captain, with a new mind set, and hopefully some new ideas on how to correct the slide that we went on this year.
I am not complaining though, a helluva lot of good ideas have come out of this years event.
Tonights LAKER League is at Endicott at 5 pm on tee pad #1.

Disc Up LAKERS,
On Sunday September 18, 2011 around 09:00 hours, we will be converging on tee pad #1 at Bluebird DGC in Ellisville to do one of our infamous split 9’s. After playing 9 @ Bluebird, we will travel down Manchester road to Schroeder DGC for the second 9 holes of the split 9. Usually there is a beverage break on the drive so we end up starting around 11:15 for that part. Come on out and have some fun.

Disc Up LAKERS,
Tonight September 27, 2011 we will end our weekday LAKER league for this year. We will begin our encore performance on tee pad #1 around 5pm at Sioux Pass. We will be accelerating our game to accommodate the earlier sunset. That means a lot of “ready golf”, “simultaneous tee-offs”, and no experiments. Bring your glow disc for that last ½ hour after sunset of play before they lock the park.

Disc Up LAKERS,
On Sunday October 2nd, 2011 at 10:00 am we have been invited and will be meeting at tee pad #1 at Beck’s DGC in St. Peters, MO. This is a private course owned and operated by a LAKER and it is a great spot to start our travels for the once a week play during the short daylight seasons.
Directions can be gotten by calling Bruce at 314-606-3475 or Bob at 314-302-1575. Basic directions are I-70 west to Cave Springs/Truman road exit (exit 225). You are within 3-5 miles from the course.

Can't make Kircher by 9 guys, but with Watson Trail being my home course, I'd love to meet you there and take you around the proposed new hole and alternate tee positions that Sunset Hills and I are discussing. Some of them you can actually throw right now and if you have a portable basket, we can set up the new hole 7 as totally playable.
Around when do you think the league will be staggering in to Sunset Hills? Let me know.
